Jordanian-Palestinian relations are strong — interior minister

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad said Thursday relations between Jordanians and Palestinians are strong and lasting.
Speaking at a meeting with Palestinian Awqaf Minister Yousef Edais and an accompanying delegation, Hammad stressed that the Palestinian cause is Jordan’s top priority on the regional and international levels.
The two sides discussed measures to facilitate Palestinian pilgrims’ passage through Jordan on their way to perform Hajj (the greater Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca) and back.
