Jordanian expatriates' remittances reach $2.251b in 1st eight months of 2022 — CBJ

AMMAN — Jordanian expatriates' remittances in the first eight months of 2022 stood at some $2.251 billion, up from $2.238 billion in the same period of 2021, the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) said on Sunday.
CBJ figures for August alone showed that remittances amounted to $270 million compared with $274 million in August of 2021, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
