AMMAN — The Jordanian embassy in Tokyo, in cooperation with UNHCR and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on Saturday launched a photo exhibition under the theme “Lest We Forget”.
The gallery included a selected collection of the Pulitzer-winning Jordanian photographer Muhammed Muheisen, featuring refugee camps in Jordan.
The two-week exhibition, with the majority of its photos taken inside the Zaatari refugee camp that houses around 80,000 Syrian refugees, is held at JICA’s Global Plaza, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Besides the photo exhibition, the event includes the premiere of the documentary “Tiny Soul” that features the life of a Syrian family living in the camp, to be screened on Monday, according to Petra.
