Jordanian companies organise Red Sea half marathon

AMMAN — Ayla Oasis Development Company and Run Jordan on Monday signed an agreement to organisethe 17th Ayla Red Sea Half Marathon on December 2 in partnership with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.

Ayla CEO Sahel Doudin said that organising community sporting events is part of the company's social responsibility to support Jordanian youth and sports and shed light on Jordan's importance as a regional and international centre for events and tournaments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Lina Kurd, Run Jordan's general manager, praised Run Jordan's continued strategic partnershipwith Ayla to ensure the success of the biggest sports event in Aqaba.
