Jordanian child succumbs to injuries after Turkey earthquake

AMMAN — A Jordanian child who was residing with her mother in Antakya died of injuries sustained in last week's earthquake, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.  The child was buried in Turkey upon the request of her family, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday. The ministry stressed that the Jordanian embassies in Damascus and Ankara continue to follow up on the conditions of Jordanians in the two affected countries.

The ministry reiterated that Jordanian citizens residing in Turkey can call for assistance 24 hours a day by calling the the hotline of the Jordanian embassy in Ankara at the following numbers: 00905353648518, 00905384419586, 00905417899641, and 00905012575198.
