Jordan, US discuss cooperation in strategic planning

AMMAN — Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury on Thursday met with Kenneth Hyatt, deputy undersecretary for international trade at the US Department of Commerce, and briefed him on the economic, social, administrative and political reforms Jordan has recently achieved.
Fakhoury also stressed the importance of enhancing future cooperation with the US Department of Commerce. Hyatt praised the Kingdom’s reform course and its pivotal role in the region and the world, and expressed the department’s readiness to cooperate with the ministry, especially in the fields of strategic planning and competitiveness.
