Jordan stands out as regional leader in entrepreneurship, innovation — minister

AMMAN — Jordan stands out as a leader in entrepreneurship and innovation in the region, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Hanandeh said on Saturday, adding, "Jordanian entrepreneurs have demonstrated their excellence on the local, regional and global stage, achieving success despite prevailing challenges."  During  a meeting with a delegation from the UAE National Defence College (NDC), Hanandeh highlighted Jordan's export of numerous "groundbreaking projects" that have received recognition from major international companies, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. He stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between Jordan and the UAE through specialised initiatives and projects that focus on the digital economy, creativity and innovation.  Ali Al Taneiji, head of the UAE delegation, expressed the NDC's keenness to enhance cooperation with Arab countries and exchange expertise in various fields.
