Jordan Shopping Festival starts Friday

AMMAN — The Jordan Shopping Festival is scheduled to start on Friday, with commercial, cultural and art activities spanning a month.

Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) President Issa Murad said the festival includes cultural and entertainment events across the Kingdom, to be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Murad, who is also head of the preparatory committee of the festival, said that organisers from the public and private sectors seek to boost the local market through marketing Jordanian products and presenting Jordan as a safe shopping destination.
