Jordan Securities Commission hold workshop on int’l audit standards

AMMAN — Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) President Mohammad Hourani on Monday stressed the importance of keeping up with the developments in international markets and for capital market institutions to apply audit standards, according to the best international practices prevailing in world bourses.
Inaugurating a training workshop dubbed “Applying international audit standards related to auditor reports on listed companies”, Hourani said that such procedures and practices contribute to helping the JSC achieve its goals of protecting investors and the market against risks, according to a JSC statement.
