Jordan, Saudi Arabia sign two grant agreements

AMMAN — The government and the Saudi Development Fund on Tuesday signed two grant agreements to finance the implementation of two projects.
The grants, totalling $80 million, will be used to finance a fibre-optics project and the construction of infrastructure for the industrial cities in Tafileh, Madaba, Jerash and Salt.
Planning and International Cooperation Minister Imad Fakhoury and Saudi Fund Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Yousef Al Bassam signed the agreements in the presence of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.
