Jordan renews support for Iraq as terror hits again

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday condemned the terrorist attack on Baghdad which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
In a cable to Iraqi President Fuad Masum, the King stressed Jordan’s support for Iraq in fighting such terrorist attacks, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty also expressed his condolences and sympathies over life losses in the terrorist attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani voiced the government’s denunciation of the terrorist attacks on the Iraqi capital, reaffirming the Kingdom’s unaltered stance in combating terrorism wherever it is, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
