Jordan records 466 new cases of Omicron COVID variant

AMMAN — Jordan on Wednesday recorded 466 new cases of Omicron COVID-19 variant, increasing the total number of confirmed infections to 794, according to the Ministry of Health.
Adel Bilbeisi, the official in charge of the COVID-19 crisis, said that the ministry will announce new cases once they are confirmed "with full transparency”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
