Jordan to participate in Astana EXPO-2017 on energy

AMMAN — The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) on Sunday signed an agreement with the Astana EXPO-2017 National Company to participate in the expo taking place in Kazakhstan under the slogan “Future Energy”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JIC Secretary General Mikhled Omari and Sagintayev Bakytzhan Abdirovich, the chairman of the board of directors of “Astana EXPO-2017” National Company, signed the agreement.
During the ceremony, Omari said the Kingdom’s participation in the expo “embodies the government’s efforts to seek energy solutions through investment in alternative and renewable energy projects”. The expo opens on June 10 and will run for three months with the participation of 156 countries, Petra reported.
