During the “Urdun Al Izz” (Jordan’s pride) conference, attended by a number of Arab ambassadors to the Kingdom, Fayez highlighted the Jordanian efforts, since the reign of King Abdullah I, the Kingdom's founder, towards instilling “the pillars” of the modern state, building the Kingdom’s constitutional institutions and the foundation of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army, the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
On the sidelines of the conference, a photo exhibition showcasing the life of His Majesty the late King Hussein and major events in the Kingdom’s history was held.
The photos are from the collection of Jordanian photographer Zohrab, the photographer of King Hussein. At the end of the conference, a number of ambassadors, as well as national, political, cultural and artistic figures were honoured.
