‘Jordan a leader in stem cell treatment’

AMMAN — Director of the Cell Therapy Centre (CTC) at the University of Jordan Abdullah Abbadi said that Jordan has become a leader at the Arab level by successfully treating many diseases using stem cells, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a session organised by King Abdullah University Hospital titled “Stem cells and its commercial applications”, Abbadi said that stem cell therapy targets Leukaemia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Hepatorenal syndrome, among others.
