Jordan, Kazakhstan sign MoU on media exchange

AMMAN — Minister of Government Communications Faisal Shboul on Sunday met with Raushan Kazhibayeva, Director-General of the TV and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan. 

During the meeting, Shboul, who is also the government’s spokesperson, highlighted the cooperation between Jordan and Kazakhstan, stressing the importance of strengthening media partnerships.  

Kazhibayeva expressed her keenness to enhance media cooperation and coordination and highlighted the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that aims to ease media content exchange between the Agency and the Complex. 

Both parties also agreed to appoint a correspondent for Petra in Kazakhstan during the next phase, who would report on Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region for Jordan and surrounding countries.
