Jordan, Iraq discuss education cooperation

AMMAN — Iraqi students in Jordan receive the same level of attention and education service at public and private schools as Jordanians whether in formal or non-formal education, Education Ministry Secretary General Mohammad Okour said Tuesday.
Okour and an Iraqi delegation discussed ways to enhance cooperation in education. The official said the ministry is implementing several education programmes for Iraqi dropouts, offering necessary facilities for them to continue their education. The delegates commended Jordan’s efforts to serve Iraqi students.
