Jordan, Iraq agree to enhance industrial partnership

AMMAN — Jordan's Ambassador to Iraq Muntaser Zu’bi and Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Manhal Al Safi on Sunday discussed cooperation opportunities and industrial integration between the countries.
Zu’bi expressed the Jordanian government's keenness to enhance cooperation with Iraq at all levels, which would contribute to serving joint interests, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He noted that the government is looking forward for initiating Iraqi-Jordanian industrial partnerships that can benefit both countries.
Safi stressed the importance of strengthening Jordanian-Iraqi cooperation and achieving joint industrial integration in various industrial fields, in light of the two countries' plans to enhance relations to the "highest" levels.
The minister also announced the Iraqi government's desire to reach "effective and constructive" partnerships with the Jordanian government to establish "promising and vital" projects that serve the two countries' industries.
