AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Thursday met with a delegation of US congressional aides at the Prime Ministry.
During the meeting, attended by Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani, Ensour briefed the delegates on the Kingdom’s reform drive, noting that Jordan was able to maintain its security and stability amidst the turbulence in the region.
The premier stressed that there are no political prisoners in Jordan. Highlighting anti-terror efforts, the premier also referred to Jordan’s efforts in finding a just solution to the Palestinian cause, which — due to being left unresolved — is the root of all regional challenges.
