Jordan, Egypt and Iraq ministers follow up on trilateral summit outcomes

AMMAN — Jordan on Saturday participated in a Cairo-hosted trilateral ministerial meeting consisted of Jordan, Egypt and Iraq.

The   Jordanian delegation, headed by Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Daoudiyeh, took part in bilateral and trilateral meetings that focused on consensus frameworks for implementing the outcomes of the Amman-hosted tripartite summit between His Majesty King Abdullah, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi.

During a trilateral meeting, headed by the Egyptian prime minister, talks went over moving cooperation towards joint projects based on the three countries’ potentials, resources and infrastructure.

In remarks to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Daoudiyeh said that the Jordanian delegation has provided detailed presentations showcasing the Kingdom’s available capabilities and resources in the fields that the three countries wish to advance cooperation in.

The minister also lauded Egypt and Iraq’s collaboration, stressing that the tripartite cooperation is based on a long-term vision aimed at serving the best interests of the three nations.
