Jordan discusses cooperation with Arab fund

AMMAN — Jordan and the Arab Fund For Economic and Social Development (AFESD) on Sunday discussed ways through which the fund could contribute to supporting development projects in the Kingdom, especially those included in the Jordan 2025 Vision.
During the delegation’s visit, the AFESD signed a loan agreement to finance the Samra Electric Power Company expansion project. Planning Minister Imad Fakhoury met with AFESD Chairman Abdulatif Hamad and briefed him on the economic and financial conditions Jordan is going through due to regional instability and the repercussions of the Syrian crisis.
