AMMAN — Jordan covers 10 per cent of Iraq's market demand for medications, Jordanian Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Devices Representative of Jordan Chamber of Industry, Fadi Al Atrash, said on Thursday, stressing that Jordan is a major supplier of pharmaceutical products to Iraq.
Pharmaceutical exports to Iraq in 2022 reached nearly $100 million and included a diverse range of products, from pills and capsules to sprays and injections, all of which have a good reputation and are competitive in the Iraqi market, he said.
Atrash, who is part of the Jordanian private sector delegation’s visit to Baghdad, also expressed his hope for continued commercial cooperation and easier export processes, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
