Jordan congratulates Morocco on winning bid to host 2030 FIFA World Cup

AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday congratulated Morocco on winning the bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, making it the second Arab country to host the global sporting event.
The Foreign Ministry stressed the Kingdom's confidence in Morocco's ability to organise this event. Furthermore, the ministry expressed best wishes of success in organising the world tournament, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Also on Thursday, Jordan welcomed Saudi Arabia's bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup, and the Foreign Ministry stressed Amman's support for Riyadh in its endeavours to win this bid, Petra added.
