Jordan condemns terror attacks in Iraq, Afghanistan

AMMAN — The government on Thursday condemned terrorist attacks that targeted a wedding party on Wednesday in Tikrit, northern Iraq, killing and injuring several people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said that terror groups are trying to create chaos and destabilise nations and their peoples, while stressing Jordan’s support to the Iraqi government.
He expressed Jordan’s condolences to the Iraqi government and to the families of the victims. Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, also condemned the terrorist attack on a hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan, which killed and injured dozens, mostly civilians.
