Jordan condemns terror attack in Pakistan

AMMAN — The government on Monday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted civilians in a hospital in Balochistan’s provincial capital of Quetta in southwestern Pakistan, and resulted in the death of dozens.
Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani expressed Jordan’s denouncement of the “cowardly and heinous” terrorist act, and stressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Pakistani government and people in their fight against terrorism.
Momani, who is also minister of state for media affairs, expressed Jordan’s condolences to the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
