AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli occupation forces' targeting of Al Jazeera journalist Samer Abudaqa, leading to his death, and the injury of the Gaza Bureau Chief Wael Dahdouh. The ministry's Spokesperson Sufian Qudah voiced the Kingdom's condemnation of the continued Israeli air strikes on Gaza and on journalists covering the war on the coastal enclave, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The spokesperson said that Israel seeks to hide the truth through its deliberate targeting of journalists in Gaza, calling on the international community to stop the repeated and continuous Israeli violations of international and humanitarian laws, and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, including medical staff and journalists. Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin expressed his deep condolence to Al Jazeera office director in Amman over the death of Al Jazeera journalist in Gaza Samer Abudaqa.
