Jordan condemns rocket attack in Iraq

AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday condemned the rocket attack that targetted Iraq's Camp Taji, which resulted in the death and injury of members of the International Anti-Daesh Coalition, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation and rejection of all forms of aggressive actions that undermine Iraq's security and stability and hamper the international community's efforts to uproot the Daesh terror group.
He also expressed deepest condolences for the governments of the UK and US over the loss of lives and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He reiterated the Kingdom’s support of Iraq in maintaining its sovereignty and stability, affirming Amman’s supportive stance towards Baghdad's reconstruction efforts.
