AMMAN — Jordan strongly condemns Israel’s decision to build 800 new illegal settlement units in occupied Jerusalem, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi said in a Tweet on Tuesday.
“Settlements are a violation of international law,” he said, adding that they deepen tensions and undermine the viability of the two-state solution, which is the only path to peace.
“World must act against Israeli illegal measures,” said Safadi in the Tweet on his official Twitter account.
