AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday condemned the repeated attacks by the Houthi militia on Saudi territories, stressing full support for the kingdom’s efforts to defend its security and stability, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

The latest attack was the launch of an armoured drone towards Abha International Airport, which was intercepted by the Saudi defence forces and resulted in numerous injuries among civilians.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul affirmed the Kingdom's denouncement of these repeated terrorist acts, and the targeting of innocent civilians. He reiterated Jordan’s supportive stance towards Saudi Arabia in the face of any threats.

The ministry also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
