AMMAN — Jordan strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the city of Trèbes, near Carcassonne, in southern France, during which a terrorist killed two people and held many others hostage, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.

Jordan also denounced the terrorist attacks that took place in Mogadishu on Thursday and in Kabul on Wednesday. Minister of State for Media Affairs  and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said that Jordan strongly condemns the attacks, through which terrorists try to destabilise societies, terrorise innocent people and threaten the world's peace and stability.

He reiterated Jordan's stance that calls on the importance of uniting the international community's efforts in facing terrorism within a holistic strategy. He conveyed Jordan's condolences to the French, Somali and Afghan governments on the death of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
