AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned the attack by an explosive-laden boat on an oil tanker in Saudi Arabia’s port.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez reaffirmed Jordan’s denouncement of the “cowardly act of terrorism”, targeting vital Saudi facilities and its freedom of navigation and threatening stability in the region.
Fayez stressed Jordan’s support to Saudi Arabia "in every step it takes" to preserve its security and stability against such rejected threats, adding that “the safety of both countries is undivided”.
