Jordan, China discuss higher education cooperation

AMMAN — Jordan and China on Tuesday discussed establishing an education centre for Arabic culture in the Chinese Ningxia region.
At a meeting Higher Education Minister Amin Mahmoud held with Li Jianhua, secretary of the Ningxia committee of the Communist Party of China, discussions also covered the possibility of founding a Jordanian university in Ningxia in partnership with the People’s University of China.
Li stressed the importance of signing a memorandum of understanding as soon as possible to implement the proposed projects.
