AMMAN — The Jordan-Azerbaijan Economic and Investment Forum will begin on Sunday, through a joint organisation by the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency in Azerbaijan.
The forum aims to bolster bilateral economic and investment relations and establish networks between both business communities in sectors of common interest: Education, medical care, tourism, agriculture, food and pharmaceutics, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The forum sessions will introduce the Azerbaijani private sector to the most important investment opportunities available in the Kingdom, according to Petra.
It will also shed light on incentives and investment advantages offered by various Jordanian free and development zones, in addition to the exemptions provided by the Jordanian Investment Law to investors.
On the sidelines of the forum, the two sides will sign a memorandum of understanding to build strategic partnerships, discuss joint investment projects, and cooperate in the field of small- and medium-sized companies.
