JMPC sees 224.5% pre-tax profit increase in Q3 2022

AMMAN — The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) on Monday said that it achieved a significant increase in its total pre-tax profits during the third quarter of 2022, reaching JD786.5 million up from JD242.384 million for the same period in 2021, showing an improvement of 224.5 per cent, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The company reported that it recorded a net post-tax profit of JD600.2 million, compared with JD180.7 million for the same reporting period of last year, marking an increase of 232 per cent.
Moreover, the company's total assets rose to JD456.8 million at the end of the third quarter of this year, while the debt dropped by 25 per cent, totalling some JD16.73 million.
