JMI, DW sign MoU to forge opportunities for media students at German institutes

AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Deutsche Welle Foundation (DW) to enhance partnership between the two sides in various media and trainings areas, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Dean of the institute Basim Tweisi pointed out that the MoU aims at building a sustainable partnership with the foundation to create more training opportunities for students at German media institutions in addition to cultural exchanges.
Marketing director for the Middle East and North Africa division of Deutsche Welle, Maryam Clement added that the MoU seeks to develop and enhance partnership with distinctive media and educational institutions in addition to implementing advanced German technology in the Kingdom.
