AMMAN — The Jordan Medical Association (JMA) on Tuesday said it may take escalatory measures against the Health Ministry for not paying allowances of public doctors for the past three months.

According to the association, the payments were due on October 1.

The JMA council called on the government to raise the Health Ministry’s budget to enable it to provide better services and ensure the retention of medical staff.
