AMMAN — Three trucks loaded with medical and non-medical aid crossed the King Hussein Bridge border crossing to Palestine on Thursday, according to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO).
''The JHCO in coordination with the Ministry of Health in Palestine managed to send relief aid to both Jerusalem and Ramallah in support of Palestinians affected by the Israeli aggression,” said JHCO Secretary General Hussein Al Shible.
The relief aid will be distributed to all affected people including Gazans, by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Moroccan Ambassador to Jordan Sidi Muhammad Naciri said that the aid is dispatched under the directives of King Mohammed VI, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Two Moroccan planes loaded with humanitarian aid for Palestinian people landed in Jordan last Sunday, the diplomat said.
The JHCO was established in 1990 as a multi-functional relief and humanitarian foundation. The JHCO now provides direct humanitarian aid to affected countries during and/or after conflict and natural disasters. Since its establishment, and under Royal guidance, the JHCO has managed to provide aid to people in need in more than 34 countries around the world, according to its website.
The JHCO announced that it is accepting donations from governmental and non-governmental institutions as well as individuals to its bank accounts. Account details are available on the following website: en.jhco.org.jo
