AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri is scheduled to inaugurate the Jordanian Industries Expo in Jenin on Monday. The expo is expected to host over 50 of the Kingdom’s companies from various sectors.
The exhibition was organised by the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) with the support of the Jordan Investment Commission, according to an ACI statement issued on Sunday.
The expo falls under the ACI’s policy to bolster communication with Palestinians, in support of their resilience and due to the importance of the Palestinian market for Jordanian industries, ACI President Fathi Jaghbir said.
As part of the expo, meetings will be arranged to bring together Jordanian participants and their Palestinian counterparts, Jaghbir said, adding that the expo is likely to result in the signing of agreements between Jordanian and Palestinian participants.
