JEBA delegation checks on investment opportunities at Dead Sea development zone

AMMAN — The Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA), during a visit organised by the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG), on Tuesday took a firsthand look at the available investment opportunities in the Dead Sea Development Zone, including 200 ventures in the tourism sector.
JFDZG Director Arwa Hiyari highlighted the group’s efforts to generate investment opportunities, including the boutique hotels, developing three-star hotels, serviced villas and apartments, therapeutic spas, health clubs, treatment and rehabilitation centres, shops and recreational facilities, restaurants and cafes, in addition to international hotels of four and five stars.
On the incentives offered by the JFDZG, she said that the group has launched a stimulus package, offering a reduction of rental payment by 50 per cent, among other facilitations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
