AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Tuesday said the government has allocated at least JD25 million to establish employment funds to give young people loans in order to create productive projects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Speaking during a meeting with the higher committee for the National Employment Strategy at the Prime Ministry, Mulki said the government’s economy team agreed that all employment funds should work together to make a positive change.
The higher committee is working on coming up with specific tools and mechanisms to employ young people, the premier said, adding that in the coming five months, a clear programme will be ready, detailing the necessary steps to be taken in the field.
