JD10m aid to enable Ajloun municipalities to settle debts

AJLOUN — The government will present JD10 million in financial aid to Ajloun Governorate’s municipalities to help them reschedule and settle their debts with the Cities and Villages Development Bank over the next 10 years, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said Monday.
During a meeting with Ajloun community leaders and representatives of the various public and private entities there, the premier was briefed on residents’ main demands, and pointed out that the government cannot meet them all at once, but can address them in accordance with defined priorities.
He said the government is committed to protecting the Kingdom’s forests and combating illegal logging.
