JCC chief, Indonesian delegation talk economic cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Nael Kabariti on Sunday met with a delegation from the Indonesian Ministry of Commerce and discussed means of advancing bilateral economic relations, notably the role of the private sector in this arena.
Kabariti urged the Indonesian side to invest in Jordan, mainly in the fields of renewable energy, transport, railways, infrastructure, water, healthcare, logistics, education, finance, manufacturing and ICT.
The delegation expressed keenness on opening new prospects for joint economic relations, intensify efforts in the next phase to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the renewable energy and tourism- related sectors.
They also called for speeding up the signing of the free trade agreement between the two sides, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
