JCC, Azerbaijan discuss economic cooperation

AMMAN — A Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) delegation, on a visit to Azerbaijan, met with several Azeri institutions from the private and public sectors to discuss increasing economic relations between the two countries.
Head of the JCC delegation, Bahjat Hamdan, and Head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency, Yusif Abdullayev, discussed means to increase cooperation between both countries’ private sectors and chambers of commerce to exchange information about investment and trade opportunities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
Hamdan said that delegates also met with President of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Niyaz Alizade and signed a memorandum of understanding to exchange expertise, share information, raise the level of bilateral trade exchange and promote investment projects in both countries.
