AMMAN — The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and the National Confederation of the Algerian Employers (CNPA) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) meant to bolster cooperation between the two business communities and boost investment in two countries.

Signed by JBA Secretary Senator Abdulrahim Biqai and CNPA Secretary General Fathiah Bin Shoubah, the memo aims to increase trade exchange and expand economic activities, as well as exchanging data related to investments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported, citing a JBA statement.

The MoU is part of the association's efforts to push forward economic growth and generate jobs through attracting Algerian investments, Biqai noted, highlighting the keenness of the Jordanian business community to expand economic and investment operations and ease Jordan-made products' access to the African and Algerian markets.
