JBA chief, Bosnia-Herzegovina ambassador discuss economic cooperation

AMMAN — The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and Bosnia and Herzegovina embassy officials explored business potential and commercial cooperation. 

According to a JBA statement issued on Monday, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, JBA President Hamdi Tabba met with Ambassador Mato Zeko to discuss ways to enhance commercial ties between Jordan and Bosnia and Herzegovina in fields of mutual interest. 

Tabba noted that the Kingdom has free trade agreements with a number of international countries, highlighting Jordan's attractive local business environment. 

Zeko expressed the embassy's commitment to expanding bilateral ties, citing Bosnian businesspeople’s desire to utilise Jordan's "attractive" investment opportunities. 

In 2021, trade exchange between Jordan and Bosnia reached $2.4 million, including $1.6 million in pharmaceutical exports by Jordan and $797,000 of imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in dairy and inorganic chemical imports.
