Japan extends assistance to Azraq’s refugees

AMMAN — The Japanese government has given the Civil Defence Department (CDD) four “fully equipped” paramedic ambulances as part of the project “Increasing Access to Emergency Response Services for Syrian Refugees in Azraq Refugee Camp and the Surrounding Host Communities”, a Japanese embassy statement said Monday.
The government also gave two movable light vehicles to the CDD, purchased under the project “Improving Safety and Security for Syrian Refugees in Azraq Refugee Camp”.
The projects were funded by the Japanese government and implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services.
