Italian ambassador to Jordan meets with Zarqa industrialists to boost ties

AMMAN — The Italian ambassador to Jordan, Fabio Cassese, on Tuesday stressed the need to increase Jordanian participation at the Arab-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Rome, through delegations and conferences, to present Jordan’s investment opportunities to Italian businessmen.
Cassese made his remarks during a meeting with the president and members of the Zarqa Chamber of Industry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Cassese pointed out the importance of increasing the exchange of expertise between Jordan and Italy, especially in the field of exports. He added that Zarqa Governorate is an important part of the Jordanian economy as it hosts many important industries.
The Zarqa Chamber of Industry president, Faris Hammoudeh, said the investment environment in Zarqa and Mafraq is competitive and ready to receive Italian investments.
