Islamic movement, youth organisations to hold protest in front of US embassy today

AMMAN — The Islamic movement and popular and youth organisations on Tuesday called for demonstrations in front of the US embassy in Amman on Wednesday at 2pm in response to Washington’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, according to a statement from the organisers.
Also on Tuesday, the Islamic movement and popular, youth and national movements called for a march on Friday after the Friday prayer starting from the Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman, according to the organisers.
