Irbid warehouse fire extinguished

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel on Saturday extinguished a fire that erupted in a 1,000-square-metre warehouse for electrical equipment, near the Culture Circle in Irbid.
The fire spread over 200sq.m, destroying around 350 washing machines and refrigerators.
According to the CDD, no injuries were recorded.
CDD Director General, Lt. Gen. Talal Kofahi supervised the operation.
A committee was formed to identify the cause of the fire, which resulted in heavy financial losses.
