Irbid school wall collapse claims life, injures three

AMMAN — One worker died and three were injured on Sunday after a school wall in Irbid collapsed, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).
CDD personnel rushed to the scene and retrieved the victim’s body from underneath the rubble, while West Irbid CDD paramedics provided first aid to the injured before transferring them to Princess Raya Public Hospital.
One of the injured was listed in moderate condition, while two were listed as severely injured. The CDD noted that the accident occurred while the four workers carried out maintenance work in the school.
